In order to choose the right candidate for every position, we process your personal data that you provided to us in your resume and its possible attachments (“personal data”). We do so in compliance with legal regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What personal data do we process and for how long?

We process your personal data for (i) our internal recruiting and assessment process prior to eventually entering into the employment contract, all only for the duration of the recruiting process for the given job position, and (ii) when the hiring procedure for the given position is over, your personal data may be processed further, if you provide us with your consent, so we can present you with additional recruitment offers for different job positions at Manta for a period of 3 years. 

How do we work with your personal data?

We strive to protect your personal data so that we take necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate protection of your personal data and to minimize the possibility of unauthorized or accidental access to your personal data, their alteration, destruction, or loss as well as unauthorized transfers to any unauthorized recipients or other misuse of your personal data. 

Your personal data will be available only to our authorized employees and only to the extent necessary to fulfil purposes for which we collect and process them.

Your rights

When we process your personal data, you have the following rights that we fully respect and that you may exercise anytime:

Transparency and right of access to personal data 

We will transparently inform you, who, how, why, and for how long we processes your personal data.

You may also ask us in the future for confirmation whether we process your personal data and how and, ask for such personal data. 

Right to rectification 

If you think or discover that we process inaccurate, outdated or incorrect data about you, you may ask us for correction, which we will do without undue delay. 

Right to withdraw the consent and right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time by sending an email to the e-mail address If you withdraw the consent to the processing of your personal data, your personal data will be erased and you will no longer receive recruitment offers.

You may also ask us to erase your personal data during the hiring process, which we grant, but you will not be able to participate in the recruitment procedure anymore. 

Right to restriction of processing 

You also have the right to ask us to limit our processing of your personal data if: (i) you exercise your right to rectify your personal data for the time necessary to verify their accuracy; or (ii) the data processing is unlawful, but you do not want to erase your personal data; or (iii) we no longer need your personal data for our purposes, but you require us to keep the data identify, exercise or defend against legal claims. 

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format as well as you have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us. 

Right to lodge a complaint with Manta or a supervisory authority 

If you discover or think that we process your personal data in a manner, which is contrary to the protection of your private and personal life or which is violating the law, you may require us to provide you with clarification, or to remedy the situation. If we fail to comply with a your request, you have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection, with the official address at: Pplk. Sochora 7, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, You also have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection directly.

Transfer of your personal data outside of the EU

We use a US-based provider within the recruitment process for collection of your personal data and your resumes. Therefore, we transfer your personal data to the US. From the European Union law perspective, the US is not considered as a country with sufficient personal data protection, especially due to the fact that personal data may be subject to oversight by US public authorities and US intelligence authorities or federal investigators. Besides, the EU citizens may not have the same judicial protection against the processing of personal data by the National Security Agency or the US National Intelligence Agency as US citizens do. The US also does not have a single federal authority responsible for conducting oversight within the US. Each US state has its own legislation and authority in this area. Please be aware that if you consider processing of your personal data in the US to be risky, you can contact us anytime and we will ensure that your personal data will remain in the EU. However, during the processing of your personal data in the US, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are in place to protect your privacy. These measures include, for example, conclusion of standard contractual clauses set by the European Commission with the recipients of your personal data. 

No automated decision making or profiling

When we process your personal data, we use them neither to make your profiles nor to make any automated decisions.
