Manta exhibitor for the first time

Last week, Manta was exhibiting at Informatica World. Las Vegas air was as hot as ever, and the conference program was packed with news. So it makes us even more proud that Manta made an impact. Lots of customers and partners stopped by (we handed out more than 300 Manta paper airplanes – OK, I admit, a few came just for the airplane ;-) ), and we came back home with a load of new prospects and several partnership proposals.

I registered a renewed interest in Manta Checker, especially from partners, but Manta Flow remains the most popular Manta tool – impact analyses and security keep recurring as the topics that keep Informatica customers busy. Speaking of security, Informatica announced Secure@Source, which aligns nicely with Manta Flow Security – I hope to bring you more news on that topic soon.

The participants at the Informatica World were overwhelmingly US-based, and we would like to know how Informatica users in other parts of the world deal with scripts in their ETL (if they do). A running discussion in the “Informatica Professionals” LinkedIn group deals with this – we would appreciate to hear from you, too!
