Compensation and Benefits Program Manager

We are currently looking for a Compensation and Benefits Program Manager for our brand new location - Lisboa!

Working as a Compensation and Benefits Program Manager you will be part of the People & Culture team, with a direct report to the VP of the department. At Manta this is a highly strategic position working on several operational programs that will determine the innovation of our global reward policy.

What you’ll do:

  • Implement a global salary framework across MANTA’s different departments and locations, supported on deep research and international markets alignment;
  • You completely understand how dynamic the talent market is so you constantly monitor MANTA’s satisfaction regarding our Comp & Ben policies, suggesting new and more innovative ways to reward every year;
  • Work proactively with key stakeholders, making sure our benefits remain attractive and competitive both to our MANTA’s and to our new hires;
  • Steering the annual merit increase and bonus cycle in close collaboration with our People Partners and Finance team. 
  • Preparation of compensation packages and promotions.
  • You will deliver and deploy new workflows on a variety of compensation areas;
  • You are the main got to person when our MANTA’s need clarifications regarding any aspect of our global and local benefits package;
  • Produce transparent and engaging content to our employees, making sure our documentation is always up to date and our Mantas are kept informed about everything that is important for their work life;
  • This is a global position with a high level of impact across all our offices and departments and you will work closely with other HR professionals such as People Partners and Talent Acquisition.
  • Participate in special projects by creating ad-hoc analysis and advice to management;
  • Support mergers and acquisitions HR processes as due diligence and integration as appropriate;
  • Other projects as assigned.

What you should have:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Law, Business Administration or any related field;
  • You have 3-5 years of HR professional experience;
  • You have at least 1 complete year working on a similar position with consistent experience developing and implementing Compensation and Benefits programs and policies on a global environment;
  • You love research and being up to date with the latest market practices and standards;
  • You totally understand that Comp & Ben is a crucial part of scaling up an organization successfully;
  • You are passionate about HR strategy;
  • Your have an impeccable ability to negotiate with all types of stakeholders;
  • You have successfully implemented HR projects on a global scale;
  • You have impressive writing skills and you get a kick out of building transparent and understandable documentation for company level;
  • Multitasking is your middle name and you are comfortable working with different stakeholders and in different projects at the same time (don’t be scared, we know that Rome wasn’t made in 1 day);
  • Reporting and Dash Boarding are part of your day to day routine and excel is your best buddy.
