And, it’s official: we’ve acquired our biggest customer to date – the international online payment provider PayPal.

After a successful pilot, we are now proud to announce that one of the world’s largest Internet payment companies is on board with MANTA. PayPal chose to use MANTA, our data lineage visualization tool, for Teradata. Given the nature of PayPal’s highly advanced systems and global coverage, MANTA has to have 24/7 availability. Keeping up with the customers’ special demands is always our top priority.

Adding PayPal to our portfolio has been another important step in our expansion to the US. It started with our expansion in early 2015, followed by establishing our office in San Francisco, and hiring our VP of Sales for North America, David Pellegrini. In November, we finally signed up our first US customer, the largest broadcasting and cable company in the world, Comcast.
