We’ve been close for years now, but after some time it’s good to make it official: Manta Tools has become a partner of Teradata International.
Teradata and Manta Tools have been a perfect fit for a long time now – our first projects done back in 2008 had Teradata technology present. We’ve quickly adapted and were ultimately successful in fully supporting Teradata’s technology and the others that connect with it too. Getting full end-to-end data lineage can be difficult in some metadata managers, but we, with the help of great Teradata professionals in both Europe & the US, were able to achieve that.
“This is another big step for us on our amazing journey which started a few years ago when we launched our first version of Manta Flow, our flagship product,” explains Tomas Kratky, CEO of Manta Tools. “And it should come as no surprise that our first implementation was to support great Teradata IDW technology and to provide detailed data lineage from quite complex BTEQ scripts for our customer. Since then many years have passed. We have developed significantly, acquired many new customers in both the U.S. and Europe, and added several other platforms and programming languages, but Teradata will always be our ‘first love’.”
