Data lineage company adds strength in customer support and engagement with senior executive hire
TAMPA, Florida, United States – March 24, 2021 – MANTA, a world-class data lineage platform provider, announced today that it has named Shane James as senior vice president of customer success. In this role, Mr. James’ primary objectives are to deepen the company’s customer relationships and ensure customers can gain competitive advantages by leveraging MANTA’s platform.
Mr. James’ appointment as senior vice president of customer success is the company’s most recent step toward building out its leadership team, since announcing its $13 million series A1 round in October 2020. With a track record of building out customer success organizations within technology companies, including Oracle and Tanium, Mr. James will bring his unique expertise in understanding customers’ expectations toward formalizing an approach for exceeding them. Further, he will be responsible for facilitating and expanding product adoption and enhancing the programs and processes necessary for customers to maximize MANTA’s platform.

Mr. James is joining MANTA after serving as director of customer success at Tanium. Prior to that, he worked for Oracle for over sixteen years, most recently as the company’s director of North America, pre & post-sales engineering, and customer success teams. Mr. James received a B.S in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management and a Master’s of Information Technology from Purdue University.
